Pray, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, if You should bring the scourge of which they had been warned in my presence, 93 My Lord! then place me not among the wrong-doing people. 94 And indeed We are Able to show you (O Muhammad SAW) that with which We have threatened them. 95 Dispel evil with what is good. We know well what they attribute (to Us). 96 And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, 97 I seek refuge in You lest they come to me." 98 Until, when death cometh unto one of them, he saith: My Lord! Send me back, 99 so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind." Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A barrier shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again. 100 There will be no kindred relations nor any opportunity to ask about others or seek their assistance after the trumpet has sounded. 101 Then as for him whose good deeds are preponderant, these are the successful. 102 and those whose scales are light, those will be the ones who will have courted loss. They will abide in Hell. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces, and therein they shall be grinning. 104 (They will be told), "Were Our revelations not recited to you and did you not call them lies?" 105 They will reply, "Lord, our hard-heartedness overcame us and we went astray. 106 Lord, take us out of this and if we sin again, we shall certainly be unjust". 107 He saith: Begone therein, and speak not unto Me. 108 You are those that when a party of My servants said: 'Our Lord, we believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful,' 109 But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them. 110 I have rewarded them this day for they were constant, and they have come to attainment." 111 He will say: how long tarried ye on the earth in number of year? 112 They will answer: "We have spent there a day, or part of a day; but ask those who [are able to] count [time]" 113 He will say: "You stayed there only a moment, if you knew. 114 Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us' 115 Then high exalted be God, the King, the True! There is no god but He? the Lord of the noble Throne. 116 And whosoever calls upon another god with God, whereof he has no proof, his reckoning is with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 And say: O my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 118
