۞ And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
