We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
