Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 In a book that is protected 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 A Revelation (this Quran) from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
