NAY, but consider the moon! 32 And [by] the night when it departs 33 and by the day when it dawns (with its radiance), 34 Verily, it (Hell, or their denial of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or the Day of Resurrection) is but one of the greatest calamities. 35 Warn the men. 36 To any of you that chooses to go forward (by working righteous deeds), or to remain behind (by commiting sins), 37 Every soul shall be pledged for what it has earned, 38 Save those who will stand on the right hand. 39 Sitting in the gardens, asking 40 Concerning the culprits: 41 "What was it that brought you to Hell?" 42 They shall say: We were not of those who prayed; 43 and neither did we feed the needy; 44 "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers; 45 And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 till the Certain came to us.' -- 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 Then what is wrong with them that they turn away from admonition, 49 as though they were terrified asses 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 By no means! But they fear not the Hereafter, 53 but this is truly a reminder. 54 Let anyone who seeks guidance do so. 55 And they will not receive admonition unless Allah wills; He (Allah) is the One, deserving that mankind should be afraid of, and should be dutiful to Him, and should not take any Ilah (God) along with Him, and He is the One Who forgives (sins). 56
