Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

۞ Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast? 1 and lifted from thee the burden 2 Which weighed down thy back; 3 And raised high your fame? 4 Indeed, hardship is followed by ease, 5 Lo! with hardship goeth ease; 6 So, when you have finished (your prayer), labor (in supplication), 7 And turn to your Lord with all your love. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
