Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf: By the Glorious Qur'an (Thou art Allah's Messenger). 1 Indeed, they are astonished that a warner should have come to them from among themselves. So these deniers of the truth say, "This is indeed a strange thing, 2 When we are dead and turned to dust, this returning (to life) is most far-fetched." 3 We already know how much of them (of their bodies) the earth will consume. With Us there is a Book that contains all records. 4 But no! They called the truth a lie when it came to them; so they are in a confused state. 5 Have they not looked at the heaven above them, how We have made it and adorned it, and there are no rifts in it? 6 And the earth have We spread out, and have flung firm hills therein, and have caused of every lovely kind to grow thereon, 7 as a lesson and a reminder to every penitent worshiper. 8 And We sent down the auspicious water from the sky, therefore producing gardens with it, and the grain that is harvested. 9 and tall palm-trees with clusters of dates 10 a provision for the servants, and thereby We revived a land that was dead. Even so is the coming forth. 11 And before them the people of Nuh belied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 and Aad, Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot, 13 dwellers of the forest, and the people of Tubba had all rejected the Prophets. Thus, they became subject to Our torment. 14 Did We fail to accomplish the first creation? Of course, We did not; We have all power over all things. Yet they are confused about a new creation. 15
