Pray, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, if You should bring the scourge of which they had been warned in my presence, 93 then do not include me, my Lord, among these wrong-doing people." 94 [Pray thus] for, behold, We are most certainly able to let thee witness [the fulfillment, even in this world, of] whatever We promise them! 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We know that which they describe. 96 And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans. 97 O my Lord, I seek refuge in You lest they attend me' 98 Until, when death comes to one* of them, he says, “O my Lord, send me back!” (The disbelievers) 99 that I should do righteousness in that I forsook' No! It is only a word which he will speak. Behind them there shall stand a barrier till the Day that they shall be resurrected. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no more relationships between them that Day, nor will one ask after another! 101 And they whose weight [of righteousness] is heavy in the balance - it is they, they who will have attained to a happy state; 102 And the ones whose scales prove light it is they who put their lives into ruin, remaining in hell forever. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces and they will abide therein with their faces distorted. 104 (They will be told), "Were Our revelations not recited to you and did you not call them lies?" 105 They will say: our Lord! our wretchedness overcame us, and we have been a people erring. 106 Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we were to return [to evil], we would indeed be wrongdoers." 107 'Slink you into it,' He shall say, 'and do not speak to Me. 108 "Indeed there was a group among My bondmen who said, 'Our Lord! We have accepted faith, therefore forgive us and have mercy on us, and You are the Best Among The Merciful.' 109 But you made a laughing stock of them to the point where it made you forget My remembrance; and you went on laughing at them. 110 Now today I have recompensed them for their patient endurance; they are the triumphant.' 111 He shall say, 'How long have you tarried in the earth, by number of years?' 112 They will say, “We stayed a day or part of a day, so ask those who keep count.” 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us? 115 So Exalted be Allah, the True King, La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Lord of the Supreme Throne! 116 And whosoever calleth, along with Allah, unto god, of whom he hath no warranty, then his reckoning is only with his Lord; verily thrive will not the infidels. 117 And, [O Muhammad], say, "My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful." 118
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
