Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 and at night.
