Remember Our votary Job because he called to his Lord: "Satan has afflicted me with disease and distress." 41 [So he was told], "Strike [the ground] with your foot; this is a [spring for] a cool bath and drink." 42 And We gave to him his family, and the like of them with them, as a mercy from us, and a reminder unto men possessed of minds; 43 "And take in thy hand a little grass, and strike therewith: and break not (thy oath)." Truly We found him full of patience and constancy. How excellent in Our service! ever did he turn (to Us)! 44 And make mention of Our bondmen, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, men of parts and vision. 45 for, verily, We purified them by means of a thought most pure: the remembrance of the life to come. 46 and, in Our sight they were indeed among the select, the truly good! 47 Recall Ismael, Elisha, and Dhulkifl (Ezekiel) who were all virtuous people. 48 This is a Message (of admonition): and verily, for the righteous, is a beautiful Place of (Final) Return,- 49 gardens of perpetual bliss, with gates wide-open to them, 50 Reclining on pillows, in it they ask for fruits and drinks in plenty. 51 ۞ And with them are the pure spouses, who do not set gaze upon men except their husbands, of single age. 52 This is what you are promised for the Day of Reckoning: 53 Our provision for you will never be exhausted. 54 This (shall be so); and most surely there is an evil resort for the inordinate ones; 55 Hell!- they will burn therein, - an evil bed (indeed, to lie on)!- 56 (They will be told), "This is your recompense. 57 and other such torments. 58 (We shall say to their leaders): 'This is a troop rushing in with you, there is no welcome for them, they shall roast in the Fire' 59 They will say, "Nor you! No welcome for you. You, [our leaders], brought this upon us, and wretched is the settlement." 60 They will say: 'Our Lord, give those who brought this upon us double the punishment of the Fire' 61 And they will say: "What has happened to us that we see not men whom we used to number among the bad ones? 62 Is it [because] we took them in ridicule, or has [our] vision turned away from them?" 63 Surely that is true the disputing of the inhabitants of the Fire 64
