Therefore continue to remind, for by the grace of your Lord, you are not a soothsayer, or a madman. 29 Or do they say: "(Muhammad SAW is) a poet! We await for him some calamity by time! 30 Say, "Wait, I too am waiting with you". 31 is it their minds that prompt them [to say] this, or are they merely insolent people? 32 Do they say: 'He has invented it' No, they do not believe. 33 Let them produce a discourse like it if they are true in their claim. 34 Have they been created from nothing or are they themselves their own creators? 35 [And] have they created the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they have no certainty of anything! 36 Do they own the treasures of your Lord? Have they any authority over God? 37 Or have they a stairway [into the heaven] upon which they listen? Then let their listener produce a clear authority. 38 Or, has He daughters, and they sons? 39 Or do you demand any wages from them so that they are burdened with expense? 40 Or have they [knowledge of] the unseen, so they write [it] down? 41 Or do they intend a plot (against you O Muhammad SAW)? But those who disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) are themselves in a plot! 42 Or, do they have a god, other than Allah? Exaltations to Allah above that which they associate! 43 And were they to see a portion of the sky falling, they will say, “It is a heap of clouds.” 44 so leave them alone till they face the Day on which they will be struck dumb, 45 The Day when their guile shall not relieve them a thing, and they shall not be helped. 46 Truly, for those who do wrong there is a punishment besides that, though most of them do not know it. 47 Now await in patience the command of thy Lord: for verily thou art in Our eyes: and celebrate the praises of thy Lord the while thou standest forth, 48 and also celebrate His praise at night, and at the retreat of the stars. 49
