And We have explained in this Qur’an in various ways, for them to understand; and it increases nothing except their hatred towards it. 41 Say (O Muhammad SAW to these polytheists, pagans, etc.): "If there had been other aliha (gods) along with Him as they assert, then they would certainly have sought out a way to the Lord of the Throne (seeking His Pleasures and to be near to Him). 42 Exaltations be to Him! High indeed be He exalted above what they say! 43 The seven heavens and the earth and all that is therein, glorify Him and there is not a thing but glorifies His Praise. But you understand not their glorification. Truly, He is Ever Forbearing, Oft-Forgiving. 44 And when thou recitest the Qur'an, We set up between thee and those who believe not in the Hereafter a curtain drawn down. 45 and We place a covering on their hearts so that they do not comprehend it, and We cause a heaviness in their ears; and when you mention your Lord, the Only True Lord, in the Qur'an, they turn their backs in aversion. 46 We know best of what they listen to, when they listen to you. And when they take secret counsel, behold, the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.) say: "You follow none but a bewitched man." 47 Just see how strange are the things they invent about you. They have altogether strayed, and are unable to find the right way. 48 Yet they say: "When we are turned to bones and bits, shall we be raised as a new creation?" 49 Say, "Be you stones or iron 50 ۞ “Or some other creation which you deem great”; so they will now say, “Who will create us again?”; proclaim, “He Who created you for the first time”; so now they will mockingly shake their heads at you, and question, “When is this going to occur?”; say, “It could perhaps be soon.” 51 “The day when He will call you and you will come praising Him, thinking you have stayed only a little.” 52
