The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event comes, 1 (and none denies its descending) 2 Degrading (some) and exalting (others); 3 When the earth is violently shaken 4 And the mountains are crumbled, crumbled. 5 So that they shall be as scattered dust. 6 [on that Day,] then, shall you be [divided into] three kinds. 7 Thus, there shall be such as will have attained to what is right: oh, how [happy] will be they who have attained to what is right! 8 Companions of the Left (O Companions of the Left!) 9 And those Foremost (in Faith) will be Foremost (in the Hereafter). 10 Who will be honoured 11 In Gardens of Bliss: 12 a host of the ancients 13 And a few of the later peoples, 14 They (will be seated) on gold-encrusted couches, 15 they shall recline, facing each other, 16 They will be served by immortal boys, 17 With cups, and jugs, and a glass from the flowing wine, 18 Their heads shall not ache with it, nor shall they lose their senses. 19 And fruit of what they select 20 And the flesh of fowls, any that they may desire. 21 and fair maidens with large, lustrous eyes 22 The likes unto pearls hidden. 23 As recompense for all they had done. 24 They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin - 25 except each other's greetings of, "Peace be with you". 26 And those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 27 Midst lote-trees thornless. 28 And banana-trees (with fruits), one above another. 29 In shade long-extended, 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 and fruits in abundance, 32 That will neither finish, nor ever be stopped. 33 And maidens incomparable. 34 and their spouses We shall have brought them into being afresh, 35 And made them virgins. 36 Beloved (by nature), equal in age,- 37 for the people of the right hand 38

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
