▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 right before your very eyes? 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
