The Human (Al-Insan)
31 verses, revealed in Medina after The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman) before Divorce (Al-Talaaq)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
HAS THERE [not] been an endless span of time before man [appeared - a time] when he was not yet a thing to be thought of? 1 Verily, We have created man from Nutfah drops of mixed semen (discharge of man and woman), in order to try him, so We made him hearer, seer. 2 We have indeed shown him the way whether he is grateful or ingrate. 3 Verily, We have prepared for the disbelievers iron chains, iron collars, and a blazing Fire. 4 As to the Righteous, they shall drink of a Cup (of Wine) mixed with Kafur,- 5 A fountain from which the servants of Allah shall drink; they make it to flow a (goodly) flowing forth. 6 They keep their vows and fear a day the woe of which will spread far and wide; 7 And feed the needy for the love of Him, and the orphans and the captives, 8 We only feed you for Allah's sake; we desire from you neither reward nor thanks: 9 Verily we dread from our Lord a Day grim and distressful. 10 Therefore Allah will guard them from the evil of that day and cause them to meet with ease and happiness; 11 and will reward them for their steadfastness with Paradise and robes of silk. 12 Reclining in the (Garden) on raised thrones, they will see there neither the sun's (excessive heat) nor (the moon's) excessive cold. 13 near them shall be its shades, and its clusters hung meekly down, 14 And there shall be made to go round about them vessels of silver and goblets which are of glass, 15 crystal-like, [but] of silver - the measure whereof they alone will determine. 16 And in that [paradise] they will be given to drink of a cup flavoured with ginger, 17 [From] a fountain within Paradise named Salsabeel. 18 ۞ Immortal youths will go about them, when you see them, you would suppose them to be scattered pearls. 19 And when you look there (in Paradise), you will see a delight (that cannot be imagined), and a great dominion. 20 Upon them shall be green garments of silk and brocade; they are adorned with bracelets of silver, and their Lord shall give them to drink a pure draught. 21 Behold, this is a recompense for you, and your striving is thanked.' 22

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
