Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have set constellations in the heavens and made them pleasing to the beholders, 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and him there followeth a flame gleaming. 18 And the earth - We have spread it out wide, and placed on it mountains firm, and caused [life] of every kind to grow on it in a balanced manner, 19 and there appointed for you livelihood, and for those you provide not for. 20 And there is not of aught but with Us are the treasures thereof, and We send it not down save in a measure known 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 And surely, it is We who give life and make to die. We are the Inheritor. 23 And verily We know the eager among you and verily We know the laggards. 24 Your Lord will surely gather them together: Certainly He is all-wise and all-knowing. 25
