Man says: "What! When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" 66 Does he not remember that We created him when he did not exist? 67 So by your Lord! We will most certainly gather them together and the Shaitans, then shall We certainly cause them to be present round hell on their knees. 68 Then We shall pluck out from every sect whichever of them was most stubborn in rebellion to the Beneficent. 69 and then We shall know well all those most worthy to be cast in Hell. 70 There is not one of you but will pass over it (Hell); this is with your Lord; a Decree which must be accomplished. 71 We shall then rescue the pious – and leave the unjust in it, fallen on their knees. 72 When Our revelations are recited to them, the unbelievers say to the faithful ones, "Which of us is more prosperous?" 73 And yet, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [people] who surpassed them in material power and in outward show! 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the All-merciful prolong his term for him! Till, when they see that they were threatened, whether the chastisement, or the Hour, then they shall surely know who is worse in place, and who is weaker in hosts.' 75 God increases His guidance to those who follow guidance; and lasting good works are better in the sight of your Lord and are most rewarding. 76 Have you seen he who disbelieves Our verses and yet says: 'I shall surely be given wealth and children' 77 What, has he observed the Unseen, or taken a covenant with the All-merciful? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall add and add to his punishment. 79 All that he claims will revert to Us, and he will come before Us all alone. 80 They have taken other gods instead of Allah that they may be a source of strength for them. 81 Nay, but they will deny their worship of them, and become opponents unto them. 82
