We did not create this heaven and earth and all that lies between them in vain. That is the fancy of those who denied the Truth. So woe from the Fire to all who deny the Truth. 27 Shall We treat those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, as Mufsidun (those who associate partners in worship with Allah and commit crimes) on earth? Or shall We treat the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), as the Fujjar (criminals, disbelievers, wicked, etc)? 28 (Here is) a Book which We have sent down unto thee, full of blessings, that they may mediate on its Signs, and that men of understanding may receive admonition. 29 And We gave to Dawood Sulaiman, most excellent the servant! Surely he was frequent in returning (to Allah). 30 When they brought fleet-footed chargers in the evening to show him, 31 he said, "I have put the love of good things above the remembrance of my Lord," until [the sun] disappeared behind its veil and the horses disappeared from sight, 32 He then ordered, “Bring them back to me”; and he began caressing their shins and necks. 33 Certainly We tried Solomon, and We cast upon his throne a mere body; then he repented. 34 saying, "Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom that no one after me can have the like. You are All-munificent". 35 So, We subjected to him the wind, it blew gently to his order whithersoever he willed, 36 and the satans, every builder and diver 37 And others bound in fetters. 38 We said: "This is Our gift, so give or withhold as you wish without reckoning." 39 And most surely he had a nearness to Us and an excellent resort. 40
