(O Prophet), did you see him who turned away (from the Path of Allah), 33 And he gave a little, then refrained? 34 Is with him the knowledge of the unseen so that he sees? 35 Or, has he not been told of that which is in the Scrolls of Moses 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 That no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another- 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 That it is He Who granteth Death and Life; 44 and that it is He who creates the two kinds - the male and the female 45 From seed when it is emitted. 46 and on Him depends the life hereafter. 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that He destroyed the former (tribe of) A'ad, 50 Thamud, 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 And the overturned towns He hurled down 53 so that there covered it that which covered. 54 So which then of your Lord's favors do you dispute? 55 This is a warner, of the warners of old. 56 The Hour that was to come draws ever nearer. 57 None but God can avert it. 58 At this discourse then marvel ye? 59 And you laugh at it and weep not, 60 indulging in carelessly idle games? 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
