Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 storming tempestuously 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 And those [angels] who deliver a message 5 To end all argument or to warn. 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 And what could make thee conceive what that Day of Distinction will be? 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Did We not destroy many a nation of the earlier times? 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 We then kept it in a safe place. 21 until an appointed time? 22 And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And have placed therein firm, and tall mountains; and have given you to drink sweet water? 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 "Go to what you used to deny; 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 As if they were yellowish [black] camels. 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40
