Pray, "Lord, if you would show me that [the punishment] of which they have been warned, 93 O my Lord, put me not among the people of the evildoers.' 94 We have certainly the power to make you see what We have promised them. 95 [But whatever they may say or do,] repel the evil [which they commit] with something that is better: We are fully aware of what they attribute [to Us]. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from evil suggestions of the satans. 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 When death comes to any of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 "So that I may do good in that which I have left behind!" No! It is but a word that he speaks, and behind them is Barzakh (a barrier) until the Day when they will be resurrected. 100 Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 It will be an Hour when those whose scales are heavy, they alone will attain success; 102 and those whose scales are light, those will be the ones who will have courted loss. They will abide in Hell. 103 The fire will scorch their faces and they will be groaning therein in pain. 104 Have not My revelations been rehearsed unto you, and them ye have been belying? 105 They will say: "O Lord, our misery overwhelmed us, so we remained a people astray. 106 "Our Lord! Bring us out of this; if ever we return (to evil), then indeed we shall be Zalimun: (polytheists, oppressors, unjust, and wrong-doers, etc.)." 107 He (Allah) will say: "Remain you in it with ignominy! And speak you not to Me!" 108 Verily! There was a party of My slaves, who used to say: "Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!" 109 But you ridiculed them. So much so that out of (spite) for them you forgot to remember Me and laughed at them. 110 [But,] behold, today I have rewarded them for their patience in adversity: verily, it is they, they who have achieved a triumph!" 111 He shall say, 'How long have you tarried in the earth, by number of years?' 112 They will say, "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask those who have kept count." 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 What, did you think that We created you only for sport, and that you would not be returned to Us?' 115 So, exalted be Allah, the True King! There is no god but He, the Lord of the Great Throne. 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 Say, "Lord, forgive us and have mercy. You are the best of those who show mercy." 118
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
