The unbelievers say, 'What, when we are dust, and our fathers, shall we indeed be brought forth? 67 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before. This is not but legends of the former peoples." 68 Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of the criminals." 69 Do not be sorry for them, nor be distressed for what they devise. 70 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if what you say be true?" 71 Say, "Perhaps some of the things which you wish to experience immediately are very close to you." 72 Surely thy Lord is bountiful to men; but most of them are not thankful. 73 And most surely your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. 74 There is nothing that is hidden - be it in the heaven or the earth - but is recorded in a Clear Book. 75 This Quran explains to the children of Israel much of what they differ over, 76 And lo! it is a guidance and a mercy for believers. 77 Surely your Lord will judge between them by his judgment, and He is the Mighty, the knowing. 78 So put thy trust in God; thou art upon the manifest truth. 79 Truly thou canst not cause the dead to listen, nor canst thou cause the deaf to hear the call, (especially) when they turn back in retreat. 80 And you cannot guide the blind away from their error. You will only make hear those who believe in Our verses so they are Muslims [submitting to Allah]. 81 ۞ And when the word befalls them, We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, [saying] that the people were, of Our verses, not certain [in faith]. 82
