But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 And all that ye see not 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 And it is not the speech of a poet. Little it is that ye believe 41 Nor is it the speech of a sooth-sayer. Little are ye admonished. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if he had forged concerning us some discourses. 44 We would have seized him by his right hand, 45 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: 46 and none of you could have saved him! 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 And most surely We know that some of you are rejecters. 49 And indeed it is a despair for the disbelievers. 50 yet indeed it is the truth of certainty. 51 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 52
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
