The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
