▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Is it such a talk (this Quran) that you (disbelievers) deny? 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 and you are watching at that time 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 Then praise your Lord, the most supreme. 96
