But he did not verify the Truth, nor did he observe Prayer; 31 but, on the contrary, he gave the lie to the truth and turned away [from it,] 32 and then went arrogantly back to what he had come from. 33 This (attitude) is worthy of you, altogether worthy; 34 Again, woe to you, [O man!], yes, woe to you! 35 Does man, then, think that he is to be left to himself, to go about at will? 36 Was he not once a [mere] drop of sperm that had been spilt, 37 Then he became a clot; then He created him and formed him. 38 and made from him two kinds, male and female. 39 What, is He then unable to revive the dead? 40
