Hast thou not regarded those who dispute concerning the signs of God, how they are turned about? 69 Those who deny the Book and what We have sent down with Our apostles, will soon come to know 70 When the fetters and the chains shall be on their necks; they shall be dragged 71 In the boiling water, then they will be burned in the Fire. 72 then it is said to them, 'Where are those you associated, apart from God?' 73 "Besides Allah" They will say: "They have vanished from us: Nay, we did not invoke (worship) anything before." Thus Allah leads astray the disbelievers. 74 That was because you had been exulting in the earth without any right (by worshipping others instead of Allah and by committing crimes), and that you used to rejoice extremely (in your error). 75 Enter Hell now to abide in it. How woeful is the abode of those who wax proud! 76 So be thou patient; surely God's promise is true. Whether We show thee a part of that We promise them, or We call thee unto Us, to Us they shall be returned. 77 And indeed, [O Muhammad,] We sent forth apostles before thy time; some of them We have mentioned to thee, and some of them We have not mentioned to thee. And it was not given to any apostle to bring forth a miracle other than by God's leave. Yet when God's will becomes manifest, judgment will [already] have been passed in all justice, and lost will be, then and there, all who tried to reduce to nothing [whatever they could not understand]. 78
