Believers! Fear Allah as He should be feared, and see that you do not die save in the state of submission to Allah. 102 Hold on firmly together to the rope of God, and be not divided among yourselves, and remember the favours God bestowed on you when you were one another's foe and He reconciled your hearts, and you turned into brethren through His grace. You had stood on the edge of a pit of fire and He saved you from it, thus revealing to you His clear signs that you may find the right way perchance. 103 Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong: They are the ones to attain felicity. 104 And do not be like those who became divided and disputed after the clear signs had come to them; and for them is a terrible punishment. 105 On a day whereon faces become whitened and faces become blackened. Then as for those whose faces shall have become blackened: disbelieved ye after your profession of belief! taste the torment for that ye have been disbelieving. 106 But as for those with faces shining, they shall be within God's grace, therein to abide. 107 These are the signs of God We recite to thee in truth, and God desires not any injustice to living beings. 108 And unto God belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and all things go back to God [as their source]. 109
