Al-A'alaa

The All High (Al-A'alaa)

19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
