Verily the God-fearing shall be amidst gardens and springs. 45 (And it is said unto them): Enter them in peace, secure. 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 No weariness shall ever touch them in this [state of bliss,] and never shall they have to forgo it. 48 ۞ (O Prophet), declare to My servants that I am indeed Ever Forgiving, Most Merciful. 49 And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment. 50 And tell them of the guests of Abraham, 51 when they entered unto him, saying, 'Peace!' He said, 'Behold, we are afraid of you.' 52 They replied, "Do not be afraid. We have brought you the glad news of (the birth) of a learned son". 53 Said he: "Do you give me this glad tiding despite the fact that old age has overtaken me? Of what [strange thing,] then, are you giving me a tiding!" 54 They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!" 55 He said: And who despaireth of the mercy of his Lord save those who are astray? 56 He said, “And what is your next task, O the sent angels?” 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 (All) save the family of Lot. Them we shall deliver every one, 59 all together, excepting his wife -- we have decreed, she shall surely be of those that tarry.' 60
