Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 who created and shaped, 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
