1/2 Hizb 45

۞ Gather together those who were unjust and their associates, and what they used to worship 22 other than Allah, and guide them to the Path of Hell! 23 And stop them, for they shall be questioned: 24 "What is the matter with you? Why do you not help one another (as you used to do in the world)?" 25 In fact, on that day they will be submissive. 26 They will turn upon one another, and question one another. 27 They will say: "It was you who used to come to us from the right side [i.e. from the right side of one of us and beautify for us every evil, order us for polytheism, and stop us from the truth i.e. Islamic Monotheism and from every good deed]." 28 They will say, "No! It was you who would not believe -- 29 And we had over you no authority, but you were a transgressing people. 30 and so we became deserving of the Word of our Lord that we shall be made to suffer chastisement. 31 "We led you astray: for truly we were ourselves astray." 32 Truly, that Day, they will (all) share in the Penalty. 33 that is how We deal with evil-doers. 34 Whenever it was said to them: “There is no true deity apart from Allah,” they waxed proud 35 And (they) said: "Are we going to abandon our aliha (gods) for the sake of a mad poet? 36 Rather, the Prophet has come with the truth and confirmed the [previous] messengers. 37 you shall surely taste the painful punishment, 38 But it will be no more than the retribution of (the Evil) that ye have wrought;- 39 Save the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 40 there is waiting for them a known provision; 41 a variety of delicious fruits; and they shall be honoured 42 (They will live) in the bountiful gardens, 43 sitting face to face upon couches, 44 a cup from a spring being passed round to them, 45 clear, delightful to those who drink it: 46 there is neither sickness in it, nor intoxication. 47 And with them maidens of modest look and large lustrous eyes, 48 (Delicate and pure) as if they were (hidden) eggs (well) preserved. 49 Then they will advance unto each other, mutually questioning. 50 A speaker of them will say: "Verily, I had a companion (in the world), 51 who would say, "Are you a confirmer? 52 Shall we be recompensed for our deeds after we die and become bones and dust? 53 Do you want to see him?' " 54 He looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire. 55 He said, “By Allah, you had nearly ruined me!” 56 "Had it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I should certainly have been among those brought (there)! 57 "Is it (the case) that we shall not die, 58 and that we would not be punished?" 59 This will indeed be great happiness. 60 It is for the like of this that all should strive. 61 Is this a better hospitality or the tree of AzZakkum! 62 We have made this (tree) a trial for the evildoers. 63 Indeed, it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Hellfire, 64 The fruit thereof is as though the hoods of the serpents. 65 (The people of Hell) will surely eat of it, filling their bellies with it. 66 On top of it they shall have a brew of boiling water, 67 Then most surely their return shall be to hell. 68 They indeed found their fathers astray, 69 and they run in their footsteps. 70 And certainly most of the ancients went astray before them, 71 But We sent aforetime, among them, (messengers) to admonish them;- 72 Therefore see what sort of fate befell those who were warned! 73 Save the bondmen of Allah sincere. 74
