Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky is cleft asunder; 1 And the stars dispersed, 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 And what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
