The dwellers of the forest also rejected the Messengers. 176 When Shu'aib (Shuaib) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah (and obey Him)? 177 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 178 So fear Allah and obey me. 179 And I do not ask you any reward for it, my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds; 180 ۞ Give full measure, and be not of those who give less (than the due). 181 And weigh with an even balance. 182 And defraud not people of their things, and commit not corruption on the earth. 183 “And fear Him Who created you and the earlier creations.” 184 They said: You are only of those deluded; 185 and a mere mortal like us. We think you are a liar. 186 "So cause a piece of the heaven to fall on us, if you are of the truthful!" 187 Answered [Shu'ayb]: "My Sustainer knows fully well what you are doing." 188 But they gave him the lie. And thereupon suffering overtook them on a day dark with shadows: and verily, it was the suffering of an awesome day! 189 In this there is an evidence of the Truth, but many of them did not have any faith. 190 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 191
