Al-Zukhruf 4 of 7
If anyone withdraws himself from remembrance of (Allah) Most Gracious, We appoint for him an evil one, to be an intimate companion to him. 36 and they bar them from the Way, though they themselves think that they are guided. 37 At length, when (such a one) comes to Us, he says (to his evil companion): "Would that between me and thee were the distance of East and West!" Ah! evil is the companion (indeed)! 38 And never will it benefit you that Day, when you have wronged, that you are [all] sharing in the punishment. 39 (Muhammad), can you make the deaf hear or guide the blind or the one who is clearly in error? 40 But if We should take you away, still We shall inflict retribution on them; 41 or We shall show you what We have promised them; for surely We have complete power over them. 42 So hold fast to what has been revealed to you. You are truly on the right path. 43 And verily, this (the Quran) is indeed a Reminder for you (O Muhammad SAW) and your people (Quraish people, or your followers), and you will be questioned (about it). 44 And ask those We sent before you of Our messengers; have We made besides the Most Merciful deities to be worshipped? 45
