Al-Jinn 2 of 2
Say: 'I supplicate only to my Lord and I do not associate any with Him' 20 Say: 'Indeed, I possess no power over you, either for harm or for guidance' 21 Say: "No one can save me from God, nor can I find a place of refuge apart from Him, 22 Unless I convey from God and deliver His message." For those who disobey God and His Apostle is the fire of Hell, where they will abide for ever; 23 Till the time when they will see what they are promised – so they will now come to know whose aide is weak, and who is lesser in number. 24 Say: "I know not whether the (Punishment) which ye are promised is near, or whether my Lord will appoint for it a distant term. 25 [He is] Knower of the unseen, and He does not disclose His [knowledge of the] unseen to anyone 26 Except to a Messenger (from mankind) whom He has chosen (He informs him of unseen as much as He likes), and then He makes a band of watching guards (angels) to march before him and behind him. 27 so that He may know that they have delivered the messages of their Lord. He encompasses in His knowledge their surroundings and keeps a count of all things.” 28

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
