Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Those who disbelieve among the People of the Scripture and the idolaters could not have left off (erring) till the clear proof came unto them, 1 a Messenger from God, reciting pages purified, 2 Wherein are all the right ordinances. 3 And they scattered not, those that were given the Book, excepting after the Clear Sign came to them. 4 They were commanded only to serve God, making the religion His sincerely, men of pure faith, and to perform the prayer, and pay the alms -- that is the religion of the True. 5 Verily those who disbelieve from among the people of the Book and the associaters shall be cast into the Hell-fire, as abiders therein. These! they are the worst of the creation. 6 Indeed, they who have believed and done righteous deeds - those are the best of creatures. 7 Their reward [awaits them] with God: gardens of perpetual bliss, through which running waters flow, therein to abide beyond the count of time; well-pleased is God with them, and well-pleased are they with Him: all this awaits him who of his Sustainer stands in awe!. 8
