O ye who believe! Seek help in steadfastness and prayer. Lo! Allah is with the steadfast. 153 Do not say that those who are killed in the way of God, are dead, for indeed they are alive, even though you are not aware. 154 And We will most certainly try you with somewhat of fear and hunger and loss of property and lives and fruits; and give good news to the patient, 155 Who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return." 156 Their Lord will bestow great blessings and mercy upon them; such are the people who are rightly guided. 157 ۞ Safa and Marwah (names of two places in Mecca) are reminders of God. It is no sin for one who visits the Sacred House (in Mecca) to walk seven times between (Safa and Marwah.) Whoever willingly does a good deed in obedience to God, will find God All-knowing and Fully Appreciative. 158 Indeed those who hide the clear proofs and the guidance which We sent down, after We made it clear to mankind in the Book – upon them is the curse of Allah and the curse of those who curse. 159 save such as repent and make amends, and show clearly -- towards them I shall turn; I turn, All-compassionate. 160 Indeed upon those who disbelieved, and died as disbelievers, is the curse of Allah and of the angels and of men combined. 161 Their punishment shall not be lightened, nor shall they be reprieved. 162 Your God is one God; there is no god other than He, the compassionate, ever-merciful. 163
