And verily we sent Noah (as Our messenger) unto his folk, and he continued with them for a thousand years save fifty years; and the flood engulfed them, for they were wrong-doers. 14 Then We rescued Noah together with the people in the Ark and made it (that is, the Ark) a lesson for all people. 15 And Abraham! (Remember) when he said unto his folk: Serve Allah, and keep your duty unto Him; that is better for you if ye did but know. 16 You only worship idols besides Allah and you create a lie surely they whom you serve besides Allah do not control for you any sustenance, therefore seek the sustenance from Allah and serve Him and be grateful to Him; to Him you shall be brought back. 17 'But if you cry me lies, nations cried lies before you; and it is only for the Messenger to deliver the Manifest Message.' 18 See they not how Allah originates creation, then repeats it: truly that is easy for Allah. 19 Say: “Go about the earth and see how He created for the first time, and then Allah will recreate life.” Surely, Allah has power over everything. 20 "He punishes whom He pleases, and He grants Mercy to whom He pleases, and towards Him are ye turned. 21 And you cannot escape in the earth or in the heaven. And besides Allah you have neither any Wali (Protector or Guardian) nor any Helper. 22
