۞ Say to them, (O Prophet): “I give you but one counsel: stand up (for heaven's sake), singly and in pairs, and then think: what is it in your companion (to wit, Muhammad) that could be deemed as madness?” He is nothing but a warner, warning you before the coming of a grevious chastisement. 46 Say: "No reward do I ask of you: it is (all) in your interest: my reward is only due from Allah: And He is witness to all things." 47 Say thou: verily my Lord hurleth the truth: the Knower of things hidden. 48 Say: "The truth has come, and falsehood had neither precedence nor will reappear." 49 Say: 'If I go astray, I go astray only to my own loss; if I am guided, it is by what my Lord reveals to me. He is All-hearing, Ever-nigh.' 50 And if you could but see, when they will be terrified with no escape (for them), and they will be seized from a near place. 51 and say: 'We believe in it' But how can they reach from a place that is distant, 52 Seeing that they did reject Faith (entirely) before, and that they (continually) cast (slanders) on the unseen from a position far off? 53 And a barrier is set between them and what they desire*, as was done for their earlier groups; indeed they are in a doubt that deceives.
