Al-Dukhaan 2 of 3

And indeed, We delivered the children of Israel from the shameful suffering 30 from Pharaoh who was most prominent among the prodigals. 31 And certainly We chose them, having knowledge, above the nations. 32 And gave signs to them in which there was a clear trial. 33 Yet those who deny the truth say, 34 "There is no dying for us but once; and we shall not be raised again. 35 Bring back to life our fathers if what you say is true". 36 Are these better or the people of Tubba and those who went before them? We destroyed them for they were a criminal people. 37 It was not in idle sport that We created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them. 38 We did not create them both but with the truth, but most of them do not know. 39 The appointed time for all of them will be the Day of Judgment 40 The Day when no protector can avail his client in aught, and no help can they receive, 41 Save those on whom Allah will have mercy. Verily He! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 42
