And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Our Knowledge). 16 (Remember!) that the two receivers (recording angels) receive (each human being after he or she has attained the age of puberty), one sitting on the right and one on the left (to note his or her actions). 17 each word he utters shall be noted down by a vigilant guardian. 18 And the agony of death cometh in truth. (And it is said unto him): This is that which thou wast wont to shun. 19 And the Trumpet shall be blown; that is the Day of the Threat. 20 And there will come forth every soul: with each will be an (angel) to drive, and an (angel) to bear witness. 21 You were heedless of this, but now We have removed your veil, so your sight today is sharp. 22 And his companion, [the angel], will say, "This [record] is what is with me, prepared." 23 The command was given: “Cast into Hell every hardened, stubborn unbeliever, 24 "Who forbade what was good, transgressed all bounds, cast doubts and suspicions; 25 who has set up another deity beside God: cast him, then, cast him into suffering severe!" 26 ۞ Man's other self' will say: "O our Sustainer! It was not I that led his conscious mind into evil [nay,] but it had gone far astray [of its own accord]! 27 [Allah] will say, "Do not dispute before Me, while I had already presented to you the warning. 28 The Sentence that comes from Me cannot be changed, and I am not unjust (to the least) to the slaves." 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
