The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the Event inevitable cometh to pass, 1 there will be nought that could give the lie to its having come to pass, 2 (it will) abase (some) and exalt (others). 3 When the earth shall be shaken to its depths, 4 And the mountains shall be crumbled to atoms, 5 So that they shall be as scattered dust. 6 [on that Day] you shall be divided into three groups. 7 Then the companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 8 And (as to) the companions of the left hand; how wretched are the companions of the left hand! 9 But the foremost shall be [they who in life were] the foremost [in faith and good works]: 10 Who will be honoured 11 In the Gardens of Pleasure, 12 A multitude of those of old 13 and how few of the later folk) 14 [They will be seated] on gold-encrusted thrones of happiness, 15 Reclining therein face to face. 16 Round about them shall go youths never altering in age, 17 With vessels, pitchers and a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring - 18 which will not cause them any intoxication or illness. 19 Also, they will be served with the fruits of their choice 20 And the flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 And wide eyed houris 22 Like pearls safely hidden. 23 The reward for what they did. 24 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 Only a saying: "Peace, peace." 26 As for the People on the Right, how fortunate shall be the people on the Right! 27 Among thorn-less lote-trees. 28 And clusters of banana plants. 29 Lengthened shadows, 30 and flowing water 31 And fruit abundant. 32 Whose season is not limited, and their supply will not be cut off, 33 and upraised couches. 34 and their spouses We shall have brought them into being afresh, 35 And made them virgin - pure (and undefiled), - 36 loving companions, matching in age, 37 like of age for the Companions of the Right. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
