Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 So be not impatient over them. We only count out to them a [limited] number. 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 and the criminals will be driven and thrown into hell, 86 who have no power of intercession, except those who have taken a covenant with the Merciful. 87 They say: "God has begotten a son." 88 Surely, you have brought a monstrous thing! 89 The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation 90 to ascribe a son to the Beneficent God. 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 There is none in the heavens and earth except he comes to the Merciful as a worshiper. 93 He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 Surely Ar-Rahman will show love for those who believe and do the right. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Can you (O Muhammad SAW) find a single one of them or hear even a whisper of them? 98
