۞ (Muhammad), tell my servants who have committed injustice to themselves, "Do not despair of the mercy of God. God certainly forgives all sins. He is All-forgiving and All-merciful." 53 Turn to your Lord and surrender yourselves to Him before the chastisement over-takes you; for then you will receive no help. 54 And ere that suffering comes upon you of a sudden, without your being aware [of its approach,] follow the most goodly [teaching] that has been revealed unto you by your Sustainer, 55 So that no soul may say, “Alas! The failures that I committed regarding Allah – and indeed I used to mock!” 56 Or (lest) he should say: "If only Allah had guided me, I should indeed have been among the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2)." 57 Or lest it should say, when it will behold the torment: were there for me a return I would be of the well-doers. 58 But yes, there had come to you My verses, but you denied them and were arrogant, and you were among the disbelievers. 59 If you see those who had imputed lies to God on the Day of Resurrection, black would be their faces (with disgrace). Is there not a place in Hell for the arrogant? 60 But Allah will deliver the righteous to their place of salvation: no evil shall touch them, nor shall they grieve. 61 Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is, over all things, Disposer of affairs. 62 His are the keys of the heavens and the earth and those who disbelieve in the revelations of Allah - those! they are the losers. 63
