The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the Occurrence occurs, 1 And there can be no denying of its befalling. 2 Abasing (some), exalting (others); 3 When the earth shall be shaken to its depths, 4 and the mountains crumbled 5 And become dust dispersing. 6 And you become [of] three kinds: 7 Then the companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 8 Companions of the Left (O Companions of the Left!) 9 And the Outstrippers, the Outstrippers 10 they who were [always] drawn close unto God! 11 In Gardens of Delight. 12 a good many of those of olden times, 13 but [only] a few of later times. 14 upon close-wrought couches 15 reclining on them facing each other; 16 immortal youths going round about them 17 with goblets, jugs and cups of crystal clear wine 18 No after-ache will they receive therefrom, nor will they suffer intoxication: 19 with fruits of their own choice 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire to eat; 21 And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes, 22 Like unto Pearls well-guarded. 23 A recompense for that which they have been working. 24 They shall not hear therein vain or sinful discourse, 25 Only a saying: "Peace, peace." 26 Those on the Right, how fortunate are those on the Right! 27 mid thornless lote-trees 28 And plantains laden with fruit. 29 And extended shade, 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 And plenty of fruits. 32 Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden, 33 And raised couches. 34 and their spouses We shall have brought them into being afresh, 35 having resurrected them as virgins, 36 Beloved (by nature), equal in age,- 37 For the Companions of the Right Hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
