The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ The command of Allah is coming, so be not impatient for it. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him. 1 He sends down this spirit (of prophecy) by His command through His angels on any of His servants whom He wills, (directing them): "Warn people that there is no deity but Me; so hold Me alone in fear." 2 He created the heavens and the earth with the truth; Supreme is He above their ascribing of partners (to Him). 3 He hath created man from a drop of fluid, yet behold! he is an open opponent. 4 And the cattle -- He created them for you; in them is warmth, and uses various, and of them you eat, 5 In them there is beauty for you when you bring them home and when you lead them to pasture. 6 They carry your loads to a land which you could not otherwise reach except by painful toil to oneself. Your Lord is the Clement, the Most Merciful. 7 And (He made) horses and mules and asses that you might ride upon them and as an ornament; and He creates what you do not know. 8 And upon Allah is the responsibility to explain the Straight Path (i.e. Islamic Monotheism for mankind i.e. to show them legal and illegal, good and evil things, etc. so, whosoever accepts the guidance, it will be for his own benefit and whosoever goes astray, it will be for his own destruction), but there are ways that turn aside (such as Paganism, Judaism, Christianity, etc.). And had He willed, He would have guided you all (mankind). 9
