Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Does he [claim to] have knowledge of something that is beyond the reach of human perception, so that he can see [it clearly]? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 and Abraham, who paid his debt in full? 37 That no soul shall bear another's burden, 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 then he shall be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense, 41 and that the final return is to your Lord, 42 and that it is He who makes to laugh, and that makes to weep, 43 and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life; 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted; 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 And that He it is Who is the Lord of Sirius; 49 That it was He who destroyed the 'Ad of old, 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 Concerning which then, of the bounties of thy Lord, canst thou dispute? 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 The Hour that was to come draws ever nearer. 57 None, except Allah, can avert it. 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
