The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ AR-RAHMAN 1 Taught the Quran. 2 He created man 3 He taught distinctness. 4 The sun and the moon are made punctual. 5 [before Him] prostrate themselves the stars and the trees. 6 And the skies has He raised high, and has devised [for all things] a measure, 7 so that you would maintain justice. 8 weigh, therefore, [your deeds] with equity, and cut not the measure short! 9 And He has set up the earth for all beings. 10 There exists all kinds of fruits, palm-trees with sheathed blossoms, 11 and a variety of corn with both husk and grain. 12 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 13 He created the human from clay, like earthenware 14 and has created the jinn from the flame of fire. 15 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 16 He is the Lord of the two easts and the Lord of the two wests. 17 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 18 He has given freedom to the two great bodies of water, so that they might meet: 19 In-between the twain is a barrier which they pass not. 20 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 21 From these seas come forth pearls and coral. 22 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 23 His are the high-sailed vessels in deep ocean like the mountains. 24 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
