Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 And the stars dispersed, 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 every human being will [at last] comprehend, what he has sent ahead and what he has held back [in this world]. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created you then formed your symmetry, then gave you right proportion, 7 having put thee together in whatever form He willed [thee to have]? 8 Yet you deny the Last Judgement. 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 Generous and recording, 11 They know what you do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 And what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
